When spam blacklists are outlawed, only outlaws will have blah blah blah. Now that MAPS, an anti-spam blacklist, has been effectively shut down in an out-of-court settlment with one of their blacklistees, a new generation of blacklisters have cropped up. The new generation is fast, somewhat indiscriminate, offshore, and far more dogmatic than MAPS about what constitututes a blacklistable offence and which obeisances demonstrate sufficient contrition.
